Working with Government Health Care Centres to make a difference
The Indo Count Foundation is proud to have been able to develop a Primary Health Centre in its community. Further to this, maintaining close relations with the Health Care Centres near our facilities allows us to better help with the health concerns of the communities.
Renovation of Primary Health Centre
The Indo Count Foundation has refurbished Primary Health Care Centres. Apart from restoring the infrastructure, Indo Count has provided patient beds and other equipment.
Health on Wheels
The neglect in even the simplest preventive medical treatment usually leads to a more serious ailment and eventually into deaths. The need of the hour is thus a two pronged approach – first to bring quality health care services to doorsteps of the needy and second to promote healthcare awareness and contemporary health care seeking behavior among the underprivileged. Thus Health on Wheels is a unique mobile hospital program that seeks to address problems of mobility, accessibility and availability of primary health care with a special focus on children and women, in remote rural areas.
The mobile centre is a van with its own power generator. The van will be a mobile hospital or primary health centre which will examine 100 patients a day, about 30,000 people in a year and will distribute free medicine in addition to blood tests, BP, ECG facilities. This greatly appreciated project is under implementation.
